Today we had a fun family day at the zoo! We saw all kinds of animals including giraffes, bighorn sheep, lions, tigers, bears (oh my!), tortoises, leaopards, birds, monkeys, and lots of others! We can’t wait to go back again when we’re big enough to go to the petting zoo!

Today was the girls’ 1st Halloween! We went down to Nana & Tata’s house in Casa Grande and got dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating, but we never actually made it out because the girls were a little upset once they got into their costumes. 🙁 We think it probably had a lot to do with their wigs and the fact that they might have gotten a little hot wearing them.

Today we went to the fair with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa M! We ate lots of fair food and got to ride on the bumblebee ride!

Grandpa won us a big stuffed pug dog playing the watergun shooting game (he beat Mommy and Daddy out for it – but, we don’t care where the toys come from, just that they keep coming)!

Today we got to go to the local Toys R Us and meet Geoffrey the Giraffe (for those of you not in the know, that’s the Toys R Us mascot) on his birthday. They had cake and fun drawing projects (which we couldn’t do yet, but they looked fun!). Best of all, we got to play with the toys in the store! We tried out wagons and cars – looks at our pictures for details!

Happy 7 month birthday to Mimi and Yaya! (No doctor’s appointment this month – Yeay!)

We had our second visit to church today. This time, the whole family went and we actually got to stay in the regular service and listen in. We were very good girls and we didn’t make any fuss the whole time! Mommy and Daddy said we were the best behaved babies in the whole church! Again, we were a big hit with Mommy’s friends from work. 🙂

Tonight during bathtime (which we have together on the weekends because both Mommy and Daddy can be there to help us), Mimi was making waves in the tub by slapping her hand into the water over and over again. Yaya was just trying to stay afloat!

Today was our first visit to church. We went to Sunday school daycare while Mommy went to the regular service. Mommy’s friends were all very glad to finally meet us and we were the hit of the church! 🙂

Both girls are now taking their first steps (with help, of course). When an adult is holding them up, they are able to put one foot in front of the other. When holding onto the coffee table, they can also step towards it WITHOUT any help! 🙂
