Outings

Our first Christmas was very fun. We got (literally) a wagonload of presents – and those were just from Mommy and Daddy and Santa Claus – Nana and Tata brought even more! Most of the time, we had more fun tearing the paper than playing with our presents, but we still had a good time. 🙂
Our favorite present is our wagon. Nana uses it to take us outside on walks almost every day – we love to go outside!

We uploaded some new photos and videos today. Mommy and Daddy even have some new photos in their gallery from their Holiday Party (including the toys for the Pappas kids) and Mommy’s work party.
We’ll try to get some video up of the babies walking as soon as possible!

Not to be outdone, Yaya has begun to be able to take steps on her own with nothing to hold onto also. It’s very neat how the girls tend to learn from each other and there’s never more than a couple days between their major milestones! 🙂

Today Mimi took some of her first steps all by herself with no help and nothing to hold onto! She can take about 3-5 steps on her own before she loses her balance. It is an AMAZING sight to see a baby start to walk for the first time! 🙂
But, now we gotta make sure all our cabinets are baby-proofed!
Holidays
anthony.silva — Saturday, December 11, 2004 @ 12:53 am
Mommy and Daddy had their Holiday Party tonight with a bunch of their friends. They had everybody bring a present for the homeless kids at the Pappas school here in Phoenix – they collected over 50+ presents and delivered them to the kids (who enjoyed them very much!). We tried to stay up through the whole party, but we got tired and fussy and had to go home with Nana and Tata. 🙁 But, we had lots of treats before we left!

Today we’re 10 months old! Only two more months ’til out 1 year birthday! We’re so excited we could scream! Speaking of scream – we hope there’s lots of ice cream at our party that day – we love that stuff!
One highlight from this month is that Yaya now likes to play peek-a-boo – she’ll play with objects by ducking below them or by bringing cloth things over her head and then pulling them down. Mimi is starting to stand by herself without holding onto anything.
