Today was our first visit to church. We went to Sunday school daycare while Mommy went to the regular service. Mommy’s friends were all very glad to finally meet us and we were the hit of the church! 🙂

Both girls are now taking their first steps (with help, of course). When an adult is holding them up, they are able to put one foot in front of the other. When holding onto the coffee table, they can also step towards it WITHOUT any help! 🙂

Today was our 6 month checkup at the doctor. Mia weighed in at 15.5 lbs. and was 25.0 inches long while Yasmine weighed 16.9 lbs. and was 25.5 inches long. Somehow, Yasmine has pulled ahead in the size categories! More shots = yukky! 🙁

Both girls are now able to stand while holding onto something (i.e. a coffee table, etc.)! This is a pretty big achievement, but Mommy and Daddy are gonna have to start getting some workouts in so we can keep up with them when they start running around!

There’s a fairly large amount of new pictures and videos available tonight. 19 new pics and 3 new videos in the group gallery (including some from our 1/2 birthday party! – make sure to go back a few pages), 6 new pics in Mia’s gallery and 5 new pics and a new video (of her standing using only the table for support!) in Yasmine’s gallery. Check ’em out!

Today is the girls’ 6 month birthday! It’s SO HARD to believe that it’s been 6 months already. My, how the time flies when you’re having a blast! 🙂 Mommy and Daddy are each going to buy the twins a special gift to mark the big day and we’re going to have a little b-day party with cake and ice cream! =D YAY!

Also, on the list of coming events – Monday is the girls’ 6-month checkup at the pediatrician so keep out an eye for height/weight updates! 🙂

FYI, both girls are also doing pretty well at sitting upright on their own – we’re sure it won’t be long before they’re crawling around here and confusing Mommy and Daddy!

We added a new way to view pics and videos in the galleries. Now, when you click on a thumbnail (no matter whether it’s a picture or a video) you’ll get a flipbook style viewer window. It’s similar to the way it used to be except that there’s “Next” and “Back” options that you can use to browse through the pictures/videos that make up the page that you’re on. Right now, it will only go through the pictures/videos on the page you’re on – it could be made to go through every picture/video in the current gallery – if there’s enough resuests, we could update it to work like this. Let us know!

Thanks to the VERY awesome Purple Yin Guestbook site, our new guestbook is up and running again. It took about the same amount of massaging and setting up as the other one, but in the end, it’s a bit easier to use and it looks just as good, if not better. We were also able to save all the entries from the previous version! 🙂

Thanks to the NOT-SO awesome Free Perl Guestbook site, our new guestbook is broken. 🙁 Daddy’s on the case…for now, we’ve taken away the ability to sign it, because for some reason, it was only showing the last four entries. Luckily, we were able to salvage the entries that are already there and we’ll re-add them when we get the problem worked out.

Thanks to the awesome Free Perl Guestbook site, our new guestbook is up and running. It only took Daddy a couple short hours to get some new graphics and the color scheme setup.

Congratulations, you’ve made it to our new home on the web! Thanks for coming and don’t forget to update your bookmarks, because the old site will be gone in about a month or so.

In the coming weeks, Daddy plans to put a guestbook on our site so that all our friends can let us know when they visit!

In other news, Mommy and Daddy went to see Napoleon Dynamite today. They said it was a great movie filled with lots of laughs – although they said it was a little slow-moving. 😉

Oh yea…and more new pics (and a video – it’s a big one – over 5MB!)!!

Update: Daddy figured out streaming video! So, that last video is MUCH smaller (only about 400kb) now and you can view it MUCH faster because it doesn’t have to download all the way before it starts! Be sure to check it out (it’s also available from the group gallery). We also updated Yasmine’s video from a long time ago. Expect lots more videos from us now that we have this available.
